tomorrow will be the last day of my long-term temporary assignment. this is par for the course in the wild and wacky world of temping. at least, i got a days heads up. fortunately, i've made enough cash to pay next month's rent but any and all of my "normalize my life" plans have been abruptly placed on hold. again. shit has been on the back burner so long, i'm afraid it's getting a tad scorched. one day, i tells ya, one day.
