after experiencing what may turn out to be a mild stroke (i'm sure that would explain ALOT) from the mere possibility of That 80's Show (i know, i'm fixated), i began to daydream about the inevitable That 90's Show. i've settled on two possibilities; one frightening and the other quite hopeful.

First: Singles, the tv show. yes, grunge is home and bridget fonda lives there. this would follow in the venerable tradition of such wonders as Ferris Bueller, Parenthood, Baby Boom, and Star Wars (oh, i'msorry...that was called Battlestar Galatica...and actually i kinda dug it...forget i mentioned it)

Second: Microserfs, the tv show. yes, internet geeks are the rage and douglas coupland shall lead them. i love this little novel and honestly, the 90's were about two things in popular culture: nirvana and the world wide web.
