I hereby declare the remainder of the month of December as Old Skool Month.Any and all popular culture consumption (music, movies, tv, art, etc) should be drawn from the hundred years just past. Put down those shiny new CDs, DVDs, MP3's, etc and get retro. It's never too soon for nostalgia, I say.

Now for you synchophants and purists, this only excludes the year 2001, with everything released between January 1, 1901 and December 31, 2000 as fairgame. But for you populists who "waited for tonight" in 1999 with J Lo,your cutoff is December 30, 1999 (you know who you are); the year 2000 is the 21st century, and as such is out of bounds.
