except when the quitting is smoking, which i just did. i've never really been a smoker. in fact, i grew up in a nonsmoking household and have always considered it a filthy habit. then, i lived in london and everyone smoked and i figured i might as well enjoy it. but mostly i smoke socially, out and such. in recent months, i've found myself smoking during the day and when i'm bored. both terrible signs that i'm progressing from smoking to smoker. you know? so, if i'm a tad irritable over the next couple of, oh i don't know, YEARS, cut me some slack.
