it's snowing outside. has been since early last night , off and on, i believe. not that snow in january in new york city is uncommon, but it is MY first snow of the season. the white stuff has been on the ground a few times this winter, but i've been out of town so much that i missed those dustings. i forget just how much i love that first snow. i had to run out in it to rustle up some booze for two hours of wigtastic fun with sydney "ima gonnakickyourass" bristow. and came back covered in tiny little ice crystals. cool. it ain't gonna stick and it ain't gonna last though. supposed to be back in the 50s next week. that's right, 50s. no complaints, though. i could do for a mild winter after the last few. that way i won't be indoors with a bottle of red wine (or two) and a handful of mexican painkillers. what a combo, eh?
